4709095392General & Scheduling
Do you really offer 24/7 emergency restoration services?
Yes — certified restoration crews are on standby 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Call our emergency hotline and our on-call coordinator mobilizes a crew immediately; no answering machines, no next-day callbacks for emergencies.
How quickly can you arrive at my property?
Our average response time is under 45 minutes across Metro Atlanta and surrounding North Georgia counties. Rapid arrival is critical — it prevents secondary water damage and stops mold before it starts.
How much will my project cost?
Estimates are always free. After on-site assessment you receive a transparent, itemized quote before any work begins — and for insurance claims, your costs are typically limited to your deductible.
Which areas do you serve?
We serve all of Metro Atlanta including Marietta, Sandy Springs, Roswell, Alpharetta, Decatur, and Duluth, plus greater North Georgia. Not sure if you are in range? Call and our team will confirm coverage for your address in under a minute.
Insurance & Pricing
Do you work directly with my homeowners insurance?
Absolutely. We document everything with Xactimate insurance-grade estimating and bill directly against all major carriers — State Farm, Allstate, Travelers, Liberty Mutual, USAA, and more — so you pay little to nothing out of pocket.
What does insurance typically cover?
Sudden and accidental losses — burst pipes, appliance failures, fire, storm and tree impacts — are covered under most homeowners policies. Ground-water flooding usually requires separate flood insurance. We work with both claim types and document everything to carrier standards.
Do you handle both restoration AND full construction rebuilds?
Yes. GA Restorations is a licensed Georgia general contractor. We take you from emergency extraction and drying through structural framing, drywall, custom cabinetry, painting, and luxury finishes — one accountable team.
Water Damage
Does homeowners insurance cover water damage?
Sudden and accidental losses — burst pipes, appliance failures, storm intrusion — are covered under most policies. We document the loss with Xactimate insurance-grade estimates and bill your carrier directly, so your out-of-pocket is typically just your deductible.
How long does structural drying take?
Most homes dry in 3–5 days with proper commercial equipment. Hardwood floors and dense materials can take longer — we monitor moisture daily and only remove equipment when readings hit dry standards, not before.
Can I stay in my home during restoration?
Usually, yes. We isolate work zones with containment so the rest of the home stays livable. For major losses, we will tell you honestly when relocation is the better call.
Fire, Smoke & Storm
Can smoke odor ever be fully removed?
Yes — when treatment reaches every affected surface and air volume. That means cleaning, sealing, and treating cavities and ductwork, not just the visible room. Our hydroxyl and ozone equipment breaks odor molecules apart rather than covering them.
Are my belongings salvageable after a fire?
More than you would think. Electronics, documents, textiles, and furniture respond well to professional pack-out cleaning with ultrasonic baths, ozone chambers, and specialized dry cleaning.
Do you respond during major storm events when everyone is calling?
Yes — that is exactly why we stage equipment and crews across North Georgia before severe weather hits. Priority goes to safety hazards and actively leaking structures, so call early.
Mold & Air Quality
Is mold dangerous to my family’s health?
Elevated indoor mold can trigger allergies, asthma attacks, and respiratory irritation — especially in children, seniors, and anyone immunocompromised. Levels that high inside a living space always justify professional remediation.
How do you make sure mold doesn’t come back?
Remediation without moisture control is temporary. We find and fix the moisture source — a leak, condensation, or crawlspace humidity — and can encapsulate crawlspaces with dehumidification to keep relative humidity in the safe zone.
How often should air ducts be cleaned?
NADCA suggests every 3–5 years for most homes — sooner after renovations, water damage, or if anyone in the home has allergies or asthma. Homes with pets and Georgia pollen seasons usually benefit from more frequent service.
Renovation & Cleaning
How much does a kitchen remodel cost?
Most GA Restorations kitchen projects land between $25k–$75k depending on cabinetry, counters, and layout changes. Bathroom remodels typically run $12k–$35k. Your design consultation and itemized quote are free.
How often should carpets be professionally cleaned?
Carpet manufacturers and the IICRC recommend professional cleaning every 12–18 months — more often with pets or kids. Regular extraction actually extends carpet life, protecting your flooring investment.
Can you help with design, or do I need my own designer?
Bring a designer if you have one — or use ours. Our design-build process includes 3D concept boards, material selections, and layout guidance as part of the project.
